I have been a book lover since I was 4 years old and my older brother gave me my first book to keep me busy and out of his hair. I don't remember what the book was but I must have loved it because ever since then my brother has been using books to shut me up. I LOVE to read and I'm finding that as I get older I'm becoming less of a literary snob and embracing some genre of books that as a teen and college student I would have refused to even look at. I have recently become addicted to paranormal romance (if my classical lit professor ever found out he would revoke my degree). I recently realized that I was so ashamed of my reading choices that I wasn't even buying books anymore just downloading them on the Kindle. Anyway, I'm using Shelfari as a coming out party of sorts. I am saying to the world "My name is Amber and this is what I read". « less
