“ISLAND BEAUTY is the best piece Marlene have ever written. She have really matured as a writer. I think it would even make a good movie. There is great suspense and conflict. Marlene shows life and how it really is, even when we think we have good friendships, life can throw us a curve ball. I really enjoyed reading her story it was great, the tone was good and it was exciting. Keep up the good work!”

Sage Churchill has always had the best of everything, a loving father that gave her everything her heart desired and good friends to kick it with, which always made life more exciting. She thought her life was perfect, until the day her father makes a deathbed confession that shatters her world as she knows it.
When Sage finds out that her mother, whom she was led to believe died, may be alive and living in Jamaica, her world is turned upside down. She is faced with the toughest decision of her life. Does she search for a woman she’s never known or does she ignore her longing for a mother’s love?
Sage, Nicky, Tish, and Lace have been friends since pre-school. But their relationship suffers when they bring the drama to Sage’s doorstep. Her girl, Nicky, has gotten herself involved in the drug game and has Sage’s name all caught up in the mix, bringing the authorities to her door. Tish, has a mystery lover and when that person’s identity is revealed, it may tear the girls’ thirteen year friendship apart and possible cause one of them to lose their life.

    Peace:
It is my most sincere prayer that you will be introduced and invited to all the things required to make this the absolutely best year of your existence. HAPPY EVERY DAY!!!
As I tell anyone who wil listen, books are very special. I take a certain delight in them because I have a profound respect for language and the many ways it which it can be used to convey sentiments and emotions. As a writer, I strive to invest my stories with a fresh originaliity as I am totally opposed to doing what everyone else is doing. so if you are, by chance, willing to be mesmerized by good writing, then I wholeheartedly encourage you to check out MATCHMAKER. It can be purchased at Amazon.com. Also visit my blog at www.proudtalk.wordpress.com. I'm known for posting some stimulating comments.
Well, my new friend, do take care of yourself.

Widow Traci Evans sits in on meetings with the lovely ladies of the Invincible Sisterhood because for a little while she can feel as if she belongs. The members are all sweet older women who have lost their husbands, but not their passion for life. However, unlike the other women in the Sisterhood, Traci's husband died while cheating on her.

Traci has no intention of letting a man make a fool of her again. Not even if he begged. Even her newfound friend and neighbor, Maureen Gilmore, can't convince her to open her heart to love again. But when Maureen's gorgeous son Ryan admits he's attracted to Traci, she might have to rethink everything she knows about love. Maureen has some soul searching to do as well. She's interested in a sexy young policeman...and then the unthinkable happens, she starts having hot flashes

Two women - two impossible situations.
