Dear Alphapenguin, what a lover a fine literature you are (with a few hacks thrown in). I'm a writer, and my novel, Loughshinny, was just published on January 8, 2008. I'm very proud of the book. I began writing it on January 1, 1997 and it just came out this year. That's a 11 years. I'm trying to get the word out. Check it out Amazon, Barnes and Noble.com, etc. Please consider purchasing a copy and letting me know what you think. I am now relying on the erudite bibiophiles of the world for succor.
If you write for a newspaper, shouldn't you know the difference between "to" and "too"?
Wow.. that is some thing.. i would like to read some of your stuff..
perfect image you chose... Luke, Binary Sunset .... his leitmotif theme elevates to its highest...
Bastard son of HST and Twain? Now THAT sounds like a cool guy! My name's Emmay and I'm a hippie chick from Chicago. Looks like we have pretty similar tastes, so how about we jam sometime?
Hey, I really like your profile. We are both in the book loving friends group and so I thought hey why not be friends. lol
Weird, sarcastic and 48 books in common. What more can one ask for in a friend? :-)
Would you recommend Napoleon? I saw it on your shelf and was wondering what you thought of it. Is it written as a historical novel? I do not enoy such novel in which the author takes too much poetic liberty with the historical facts.
Let me just say that after re-reading your profile, I am quite intrigued to see what you'll be coming up with for NaNoWrMo!
Thanks for the add! I really enjoyed your shelf.
Absolutely love your collection. Great books
It's cool that you have such an eclectic collection of literature! I've been thinking about adding a separate shelf for my "serious" reading, since all I seem to be getting through is the light stuff these days ... "Pretty Mouth and Green My Eyes" from Salinger's Nine Stories is an all-time favorite, and I see a lot of other titles that have stuck with me through the years on your shelf, as well!
we have, somehow, similar books considering that your collection is twice better :)
Great shelf! I'd love to get some of your recs.
You've got lots of interesting stuff on your shelf... I'm gonna check out a few that I'm unfamiliar with... Thanks for the great ideas for new reading.
I saw your shelf and thought I was looking at mine! Looking at yours reminded me of others I love and hadn't remembered, too. Sweet.
Nice to find another nut job on the net. Cheers, bro!
