From M.F.K. Fisher to J.R.R. Tolkien to Jeffrey Toobin to John Updike to the back of the Kashi cereal box I've found reading to be one of the few things that truly makes me happy, in fact, one of the few things that truly makes me feel.
Ever since learning to read at a later-than-average age I've never been able to pass up a chance to read, a habit that can seriously annoy some; what seems to others to be dawdling or distractedness is in fact an obsession with reading each word that I see before me. Of course, if this makes me late at least it will make me happy.
