Greetings, Adelle! My friend who passed it on to me liked it, but I didn't. I think "The Long Walk" and "It" by Steven King were significantly better. =)
"Who Moved My Cheese?" was incredible. It's probably about time I reread it. Reading anything of interest these days? =)
Hows outlander goin?Deb
Hi Adelle, I didn't get to see Breaking Dawn today unfortunately but am hoping to go see it this Friday. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the Cullen family as well as more interaction between them and the werewolves. I'm really pleased to hear that the movie stayed true to the book.Yes I've heard of the Outlander series from Deborah. I can't remember how many books she read but I remember her telling me the books were really thick. I like time travelling books though and I really hope to read them in the near future. Let me know which books stood out for you if you have a chance.I'm currently on the last book in Lili St Crows Strange Angels series. Have you ever read a book and found it really boring but have been to stubborn to not finish it? Thats what it was like when I read the first book in this series. The climax showed promise however and as I had all five books in the series on hand I thought I'd read the second installment. I was pleasantly surprised by how much the books improved as the series progressed so it just goes to show that sometimes perserverance can pay off! I've got several books lined up next - Charlaine Harris' Dead Reckoning, Lee Carroll's Dark Swan series, Karen Marie Moning's Fever series, Jeri Smith-Ready's Shade series, Sunny's Demon Princess Chronicles and Michael Lawrence's The Aldous Lexicon series. It's been great chatting to you Adelle, take care, chat soon x
Hi Adele, I'm happy to hear that Deb has finally gotten round to reading Twilight and I look forward to hearing her views on it although she wasn't impressed with it first time round. I'm hoping like you to see Breaking Dawn too, my tickets are booked for next Tuesday so I look forward to comparing notes with you. I was miffed when I first heard that it was going to be in two parts, but at least they won't cram everything into two hours. You mentioned that you weren't a fan of historical fiction - have you read any historical fiction books with a paranormal twist? I'm a huge fan of Barbara Erskine as she mixes historical and paranormal fiction. Have you heard of her?I liked the first four books in the Vampire Diaries but haven't been much for The Return trilogy. The TV shows good although so far removed from the books I struggle between the plot at times. I love Damon though :) The Blue Bloods I must admit are slow starters despite the interesting fallen angels/vampire angle. I've found myself blowing hot and cold with them at times. Have you heard of the Morganville Vampires series? I read them straight after the Twilight saga and loved them the first time round. I plan to re read them again soon as I'm four books behind and own all of them. The Vampire Academy and House of Night books are cool too. Do you like YA books? I've read some crackers lately, Josephine Angellini's Starcrossed, Cate Tiernan's Immortal Beloved, Cynthia Hand's Unearthly, Kelly Keaton's Darkness Becomes Her and Tricia Rayburn's Siren. I loved them all and can't wait for the sequels. I'm currently readin Lili St Crow's Strange Angels series. What are you reading?
Hi Adele, Debs recommended you as a friend due to our mutual taste in vampires. I've been trying to get her to read vampires books for yonks although I do share her love of historical fiction too. I look forward to hearing about you favourite books and sharing notes on books we have in common. Take care, bye!

Hi Adelle, If you liked Madam Tussaud and Marie Antoinette's Diary, you may like The Queen's Doll Maker" by Christine Trent. Just a thought.
