Here are some APW reviews...
"This is a story tellers tale that moves in and out deftly. If you're looking for a new Fantasy author or just want something new, I recommend Prisoners Welcome..."
-Joe Lawson author of "The Calm Before the Storm
"Moore takes us on a whirlwind ride with politics. deceit, trickery, and backstabbing on a grand scale. You soon discover that young Lance is not the hero of the story, he is in fact the prophetic villain!"
-Mark Adler LBC
"Moore uses his police background to paint the thoughts of villains so accurately you begin to relate with them! I found myself pitying the monster that was directly responsible for the murder of thousands!”
-Police Writers.com
"...That Lance can cast one mean dweamor..."
-SO Magazine
"Fantastic new writer!"
-Alton Telegraph
"I think the things that people are most going to enjoy about this story (and based on comments I've read, I'm right on this point) are the morality of the characters and the labyrinthine plot."
-John Beachem; "Storms of Vengeance"
"A Prisoner’s Welcome is a pretty heft book at 553 pages in length and perfect bound with a pretty good quality. It was daunting in places to read, mainly I had it out on my bed table for a few weeks before I got to finishing it, but overall, I was very glad I did."
-Moonfire Reviews
APW is an epic fantasy work where the veil of good and evil are
clouded by motive and ideals. Though the ends do not justify the
means, there are few clear cut evil characters. Even the main
protagonist is prophesied to be a monster known as the "Abyss Walker"
hence the name of the series. LOL.
I used my extensive Psych and Soc education, coupled with my police
background, to write some deep and dynamic characters that enrich the
already multi-faceted story.
If anyone gets it, let me know. Before you spend you hard earned money
on APW-note that my writing influences are Asimov, Jordan, Dick,
Salvatore, and Robert E Howard. If you can't stand these guys,
probably can't stand me either.
Hope you enjoy it!
~Shane
