You can keep in touch with me via the above URLs if you like. I love Shelfari but I'm not responding to any notes or messages here. Because unfortunately it seems that the size of the shelf has turned into a competition here that although I don't want to have anything to do with it, but I still receive a ton of irrelevant messages because of it.
As for who I am, I'm a student of electrical engineering [robotics option], programmer, web-developer, tutor and translator. Besides that, I'm into semantic web, languages, ancient cultures and mythology, demoscene, fencing, and a whole bunch of other stuff. I'm a mix of Persian & Welsh, and I currently live in between Canada and Switzerland.
My Shelfari shelf is my way of creating an organized catalogue of my rather huge eBook collection. My favorite reader so far is the Sony eReader. Not all the books on my shelf are necessarily my favorites, or representative of my ideologies in any way. It happens often that I read a book just for the sake of developing an understanding of someone else’s ideology.
=) I got suggested some great French mythology books: Thank you but I can't read them unfortunately. At least not yet. My current reading is limited to books in English, Persian, Spanish, Esperanto, Greek and German.
Pardon me but I'm not accepting all the friendship requests that I'm receiving. I'm using this website to catalog my books for my own or my friends use, and not exactly as another web 2.0 socializing tool [for that, there's always Facebook! ;) ]. I should see a reason for adding/approving someone to my friends list. You're welcome to add me if you're here for books.
