I LOVE a good mystery and have found many excellent ones over the years. I'm retired and live in Arizona so I have lots of time to do my favorite thing - reading!!!!! Mysteries are my 1st love, especially ones located in England (any time period will do - modern, Elizabethan, Victorian, etc.)

Hi Angie, I saw your question about incorrect cover images in the regarding The Jester and Lifeguard. In some cases, shelfari librarians can remove incorrect cover images. They can only remove them if a shelfari user uploaded the picture. Unfortunately most incorrect images come from Amazon. What you can do is go to the Amazon.com page for the edition (on the edition click on see this at Amazon.com). Once you are on the Amazon page, you can click on give feedback on images (in the product details section of the page). Amazon will review your request. In a day or two you will receive an email letting you know that they reviewed the request and what action they took (usually they remove the photo). Once the incorrect image is removed at Amazon, it should also be fixed on Shelfari (sometimes it takes a couple days to update here). I will deny your request to have the edition separated since the title takes precedent over the image. Let me know if you have any questions or need helping reporting the incorrect image at Amazon.

My daughter saved up to go visit England for three weeks, and loved a couple of the towns she stayed in. VERY different from over here. She didn't care too much for London, though. I think she stayed in Cornwall and Penzance? Not sure, but definitely was there near St. Michael's Mount during a flood watch.

    Hi Angie,
I love mysteries too! I have just found author Alan Bradley. He has written a series of mysteries about a young English girl, Flavia de Luce, in 1950's England. I am really enjoying them and thought if you hadn't read them, you might enjoy them too.

Hi Ange! I'm not reading as much now that the weather is nice. I've been spending lots of time outside. I'm currently reading a challenging book that's taking me some time to get through... just updated my shelf.

Hi there! I'm just dropping by to welcome you to The 100+ Book Challenge. The idea of the group is pretty much self explanatory - try to read 100 or more books in a one year period. If you do have any questions, please feel free to send a message to me or Tenia. In the meantime, good luck reaching your goal!

Hi Angie! Thank you so much for accepting my friends request. I'm like you, always looking to broaden the horizons. I hope my shelf helps you out as well, the only problem is finding the time to read all these interesting books, my shelf gets bigger and bigger and I wonder when will I get to them all?! LOL!
