Alina Oswald is a freelance writer and photographer, and the author of several books, including "Journeys Through Darkness," a biography, and "Vampire Fantasies" a collection of vampire photography. Alina Oswald has documented the LGBT and the HIV/AIDS communities for almost a decade. Other topics she's also covered include health/medical, arts/culture and science/math. Her writing and photography have appeared in various publications, among which "Art & Understanding," "AIDS Link," "Beyond Race," "Extra-Extra," "Gala Magazine," "Go NYC," "Jersey Journal," "Next Door," "NY Blade" and "Out IN Jersey." Her photography has been showcased in art shows hosted by Manhattan and New York City area galleries, such as Leslie-Lohman and Visual AIDS.
