For the most part i really enjoyed this book. It was nice too see other styles of drawing besides just "traditional manga style." It was also interesting to see many non-eastern' interpretation of manga. I thought the best stories were Advent, The Healing, Instant Noodles, Bulldog Empire, Princess at Midnight, Snails Don't Have Friends, and The House That Wasn't Her. Stories I didn't like included: Ongoing Mission, Fat Panda, Haru-Sari, and Magical Science Robot Zappy for reasons of artwork (Ongoing Mission, Fat Panda), plot (Fat Panda,Science Robot Zappy, Ongoing Mission), and unorgianlity (Haru-Sari).

Personally I thought this book ruined the whole series. The characters seemed off to me. All the new powers all at once i also found ridiculous. James Patterson spent so much time working Angel up to her powers, that to throw in new powers for everyone all at once was a poor choice. Because of this book, I have no desire to read any others in the Maximum Ride series. And to think that this was my favourite series 5th through the beginning of 7th grade!

Grade D, because I will admit the bird seed incident was funny.

Being a manga fan i appreciate the art work. I wasn't a fan of how the characters, especailly Fang, were drawn
