C.J. if you like mysteries and thrillers you need to read Catherine Coulter's FBI thrillers starting with the book "The Cove". Also continue to read J.A. Jance. She has three different protagonists she writes about. 1. J.P. Beaumont a Seattle Homicide Detective, 2. Joanna Brady a Cochise County Sheriff in Arizona and 3. Ali Reynolds a former LA News anchor women who moves back to Sedona, AZ. Her first book is Until Proven Guilty with J.P. Beaumont. All her books are good.

The Island? Who's it by? I never heard of that title, nor KK or HB. Are they IJ's?

Hi C.J.! Thanks for the friend request. I see we have 136 books in common. The Dead Room was a good book, as is the others in that same series by Heather Graham. I always enjoy her books. I actually enjoy thrillers with the paranormal elements even better than the straight thrillers (which I still love). It gives the story that little extra something that makes it a bit more interesting. I'm on a paranormal/fantasy (urban or otherwise) kick right now, though I am not reading one at the moment. I am almost finished with Outlander by Diana Gabaldon....time travel from 1943 to 1700's Scotland...rich in detail. Terrific book! Have a great day!

I just finished Quicksand CJ. Another good read. Blood Game is the newest one coming out. Hope to get to Stalemate this summer.

Yes she does. This is her latest book up to date. It's a great thriller. I'll be reading Quicksand next and Stalemate later on.

You're welcome. I'm not familiar with that one either-she wrote it with her husband I believe. I read The Ugly Duckling back in 2007 and Long After Midnight the same time too. I'm reading Deadlock now and will read Quicksand next week and Stalemate this summer.

C.J., at last night's library book sale, I picked up The Body of Lies and Silent Thunder by Iris Johansen. The others I've seen of hers I either brought last year and read this year or read years ago. I'll be picking up Deadlock today at the library.

I'll be picking up Deadlock this weekend. You're welcome. I let you know about the book sale this weekend. I'll be going on Friday. I've read Dead on the Dance Floor by Heather Graham and thought it was great.

I have Quicksand on my TBR pile. I've requested it back in February. I also have Stalemate to read. Next week is my library's book sale. If they have any IJ books for sale, I'll buy Body of Lies to read next year. I should be reading Quicksand with a week or so from here and will let you know what I think in my review.
