Hello Shelfari friends!

I'm Chris. I live out in prairie country in Saskatchewan, Canada but I’m actually a city girl at heart, so I’m happy I don't live very far away from it. By day I'm employed as a Municipal Government Administrator which is essentially a tax collector so you can see why I need a outlet to relax! Thus when I'm not...more »

Hilarious book. It's the first book I've read of Marianne Stillings and I will have to find more! Wonderful sense of humor and intriguing story.

I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 of these stories. Well worth reading!! All a little dark and a bit Gothic light, just in time to get you in the mood for Halloween!! :-)

A little hard to figure out the complex details of the story with "Life in the Real" to the grid. Quite a few times I had to backtrack and reread sections to fully understand.

Great story though I think it would have been a little better if the author had not made it quite so complex and concentrated more on character development.

Well worth reading though and a very talented author.

Loved this book. Very fast paced. Loved the sparks between the heroine and the outlaw. Great combination. Looking forward to more books Michell Maddox writes.

I didn't mind the story but didn't enjoy the main characters. They were very shallow, aggressive and it seemed like the author skimped on they're story. They had no depth to them at all. Not great writing there.

Loved this book!! Very fast paced, sexy, combined with a few comical moments. I normally hate first person books but honestly I didn't even notice until I was almost halfway through it. The writing is that good! I don't even like vampire books but thought I would give this one a try and it did not disapoint.

** My only grip is that I don't already have the next book in this series in my hands!

I felt that this was Eve Silver's best Gothic book to date. A very dark feel to this story that kept you guessing right up to the end of the book, with twists, turns and surprises all the way through.

She did a superb job of intertwining the characters and complex plot together to give you a intense, on the edge of your seat read.

I am not going to give any parts of the story away, as I want everyone's to enjoy the story fully with all of its surprises.

Bottom line, I HIGHLY recomend reading this book!
