“Page-Turner! Beautiful prose! Interesting story about a young girl that gives herself for a red ribbon who then is thrown out of her house due to pregnancy. She befriend a local prostitute and becomes a prostitute out of necessity and ambitious dreams of a life of luxury. She must flee London to a small village where she becomes a servant/seamstress for her mother's long lost friend where the story ends in tragedy.”
