So cute! Congrats! How have you been?
Did you get a dog? so cute!
I completely agree with your review of Water for Elephants...hate the cast! What were they thinking? Hope you are well! :)
I would like to suggest reading THE ENDLESS HOUR- The True Story of a Haunted Soul.I completed publicationin November 2010.Over eighteen years in the making,THE ENDLESS HOUR is about an illustration I created in 1988 that became reality two years later, which involves a spiritual death experience. This touching and terrifying true story is not only about me.It is also about... you.For more information go to theendlesshour.com. Once you enter the website you can watch the book video andread reviews. You may also want to visit amazon.com and read the first seven chapters of THE ENDLESS HOUR.Thanks,Jesse
How about reading Scars of Evolution?
Yeah! thats a great idea. I just finished Into the Wild this weekend, it was a great book. A lot more information, history, and back story than the movie provides. I really liked Jon Kraukar's reporting/writing.Got any books in mind?
She surely does. All Irish have a knack for the "language." The Brennans specifically have a gift for it. That's why we love Deirdre. When are you guys coming to California?!?
Rhett,I had no idea my actions would bring about such far-reaching consequences. If I knew then what I know now, I would have donated $200!! J/k. Do me a favor - sit front and center with a camera. Then send me the video. I'll owe you one.
Hello - I thought I had replied to your post, but I think I just composed it in my head and didn't actually commit it to text. Hope all is well. It's been hot as Hades here recently, a few days of 106 degrees. It's starting to drop back down to more humane temperatures now though. This picture is from a few years ago actually. I have no recent photos of me at all. I also delete ones in which my hair is not completely shiny and reflective :)Tell me what is new with you - what is going on?!
Hey, Looking for good Vonnegut books. Which ones do you like? Please recommend!
Hey Rhett!I like the Millenium series, but a few notes: one, there are so many characters that it's hard to keep them all straight; two, the hardest part to read is the first hundred pages or so of the first book; and three, some of the scenes are hard to read. The books carry the main theme of violence against women, and the worst things you can imagine are written about here. With those things said, it's a great series, and yes, I recommend you read them! Hurry so we can talk about them, haha.
$20 to the person who can get Betty to join!
Hey, I read that book cover to cover!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have one more book than you do! I may have to add some extras like the "Bobbi Brown book of beauty" that Deirdre mentioned before to gain a solid lead
i need to get back on the shelfari bandwagon!!! i'm almost done with a book (first one in quite some time). he he he
Haha...touche! :) :)
Ummm...didn't you make fun of me for reading freakonomics like 5 years ago???
I've never read East of Eden, and I'd like to start that one. Have you read Charles Bukowski? I didn't read much at all this last school session because the classes were so tough. I'm lucky to have survived at all. Lesson learned: statistics has me by the throat. I start again tomorrow for the last session before summer break! Let me know how Deception Point is. The only Dan Brown I've read is DaVinci. I got a library card here only to discover that my hallway closet is bigger than the Rocklin branch is.
It actually is a good book day because it's so gloomy here! Can you recommend any good books for me?
