    Hi Linda,
Yes I read The Shack. I liked it and found it to be an interesting perspective on God/Jesus/Holy Spirit. I guess we always think God is a white male with a long white beard. Won't we be surprised when we meet God face to face some day?
I was looking at your book These is my Words. Looks like a book I would LOVE to read.
I can't figure out how to turn my picture up and down, so I may have to put on a new one.

Linda-I saw on your shelf that you had read Sarah's Quilt about Sarah Prine - have you read *These is My Words*? That's the first in the series, and the one I liked the best. *Sarah's Quilt* was next, and then *Star Garden*, I think. I saw also that you read a few books about Jimmy Carter. I just got something about "an hour before daylight" or something like that about his boyhood. Have you read/heard about it?

I enjoy non-fiction books depending on the subject matter, but I never pay much attention to book lists. I get most of my recommendations from my friends and sisters and only one of them reads very many non-fiction. She loves English history about the kings of old and I don't necessarily. She is the one who got me to read John Adams and 1776 though. I liked the first and found 1776 way too dry so only read about half of it. I need to pay more attention when I go to the library. We don't take the newspaper or any magazines except a church magazine which doesn't have any advertisements in it.

What led you to the book? Was it on a book list? I guess I never go looking for non-fiction books. I should look for more than I am interested in and read them.

    Linda,
I made it half way through the book "The Ghost Map." His descriptions are very vivid and so is my imagination so between the two of them I just kept gagging while I was reading. I decided that even though it is very interesting and I would like to know how they got the water system cleaned up, I had to quit reading it. I'm a wimp, I guess.
