Anna N has gone to Michigan to get her GED. :)

A little bit about me. I'm 19, originally from Michigan. Just moved to Louisiana a year ago. I love to read obviously, mostly into fantasy but will read anything that is recommended or sounds interesting to me. I will always take friendship request but please don't send me group requests. I'm already in too many groups I can't keep up with. The... more »

    Storm Glass

    by Maria V. Snyder
    • Rated 5 stars

This book was really good Maria V. Snyder really has a way of pulling you into the story. Although I must admit I liked the Study series a little better then this one so far. I like how a lot of my favorite character's from the Study series show up in this book, since I really was missing them. I look forward to reading Sea Glass and continuing Opal's story. I would recommend this but I would suggest reading the Study series first because it makes some things make a little more sense even though you don't have to. I look forward to reading more things by Maria V. Snyder in the future. :)

I'm so glad my friend let me borrow this. The very beginning to me was kinda slow but after that things were very good. It was very funny and a quick read. Although I was able to figure out some things before they happened. All in all I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good and funny fairy tale.

I kept tossing this book over and over in my head trying to figure out how much I liked it. I have read other shorter versions of a story like this and have thought those to be great but with this one I had a lot of debate. Finally I have decided to put it in my favorites, mostly because I did like the story over all. The only thing I didn't really care for is that it seemed to drag on a bit. The story itself really didn't need all those pages in my opinion. I loved the characters though and the new ideas the author had for this story. :)

Ive found that some children's books are very good. This is why I'm very diverse in my reading. This book was very cute and one of my favorite children's books now. Very easy and entertaining read. :)

I really can't explain why I love this book the way I do. I of course love the way the author always writes her books, although they are all really dark. They are always fast reads and always keep me interested. This was the first of her books that I had read though and in one particular verse I actually felt like I could relate. Anyway I really love this book and it will always hold a special place in my heart. :)

MY personal opinion, I like this series a lot more than Twilight. That's just me though.
Find the characters very intriguing and really just loved everything about this first book.
As the books kept coming I found that I liked how the characters developed and that things were kept very interesting. Even though the two after this one I didn't much care for in all honesty. Still a really good series and all around great first book. :)

I'm very glad I was given this series for Christmas. I had only read only one other book by the same author and had loved it. I look forward to reading more of her books. This is why I always read older books, because you never know what you might find. :)
